Introducing Concordia at Clement Park!

Two elderly women with a bike by a lake on a sunny day.

CWAL Expanding to Another Location!

Come experience beautiful Clement Park and its surrounding pathways in Jefferson County, not far from our Riverpointe location!

Two people seated on a bike rickshaw at a skatepark on a sunny day.

Check Out Concordia's Clement Park!

Let Jinny our Master Scheduler know you'd like to try a Concordia trishaw experience at Clement Park: take in great mountain views, ride around the beautiful lake and experience everything from a giant skateboard park to expansive fields and playgrounds.  Spend a few moments visiting the Columbine Memorial and roll along the nearby greenbelt weaving among the lovely, well-kept neighborhoods.

Honoring WWII Veteran

Recently, CWAL had the pleasure of honoring a 95-year-old WWII veteran with a unique trishaw experience. What a fun day it was. Thank you for your service, Jay!

We LOVE birthday rides!

Bringing Holiday Cheer Amid Shutdown, 2020!

Although our rides are currently on hold due to COVID-19, CWAL didn't stop bringing the community cheer during the holidays.

This year CWAL partnered with Visiting Angels to bring cheer to many. We went to Holly Creek and Orchard Park Senior Living facilities to bring joy through music and dog therapy.

We also had a fun time being the Grinch and bringing joy to children and seniors alike.

We are so thankful for the partnership we have with Visiting Angels. Their contribution of staff time and finances continues to help grow CWAL and bring joy to many!

    Betty's 91st Birthday Parade, April, 2021

This weekend CWAL partnered with Wish of a Lifetime and Visiting Angels to surprise a very special person on her 91st birthday. We are amazed at the support of our community who jumped in to help make her day even more special. Wish of a Lifetime sent a cosmetologist to do Betty's hair and makeup before the parade, the Littleton High School Drum Line joined in for the parade, along with the Sheridan Fire Department, Yard Love Mile High and CWA who provided trishaw rides to Betty, family and friends. There was even a surprise visit from the Easter bunny! What a day! Happy Birthday, Betty!

Earth Day, 2021 at Hudson Gardens

CWA Littleton had a great time celebrating Earth Day at Hudson Gardens. Our passengers enjoyed learning about bees, being outside and feeling wind in their hair! A shout out to our partners at Hudson Gardens and the volunteer bee keeper who gave us a great education! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

A Day at Bonaventure in Castle Rock

CWA Littleton partnered with Visiting Angels to give 13 trishaw rides to residents at Bonaventure, an assisted living facility in Castle Rock. It was a great day!

CWA Littleton Celebrates Their 3rd Trishaw, May, 2021!

In May, 2021, CWA Littleton celebrated their 3rd trishaw with a ribbon cutting ceremony at Concordia on the Lake! We're so excited to kick off trishaw experiences at Concordia. Thanks to everyone who stopped by!

Step It Up for Stroke Challenge in May, 2021

The Rocky Mountain Stroke Association is organizing a May challenge to bring awareness to those who have experienced a stroke. CWAL and Visiting Angels teamed up and have 5 teams participating in this challenge counting up their miles for the month to bring awareness to the excellent work the Rocky Mountain Stroke Association does! It's a reminder to each of us to be greatly for every healthy day we have and to live life to the fullest bringing joy to others.

Vitality Walk and Run 5k, 2021

CWA Littleton had a great time at the Vitality Walk and Run 5k hosted by the Parkinson Association of the Rockies earlier this summer. We gave trishaw rides to those who are affected by Parkinson's who were unable to walk in the event. They and their families were thrilled that this enabled them to be able to participate in the event. What an incredible morning!

    Drew's 40th Birthday - July, 2021

It was a great privilege for CWA Littleton to plan and celebrate Drew's birthday party with a trishaw experience! There was another group of 20 celebrating a birthday so we had fun events side by side. Happy Birthday Drew!

    Kevin's Birthday Parade - June, 2021

CWA Littleton had a great time celebrating Kevin's 44th birthday earlier this summer along with 75 other community members! A bike led the parade with a vintage car, followed by walkers, then the trishaws and a block long of cars and last the fire truck brought up the rear. It was a beautiful witness of a community coming together. Despite the heat, all enjoyed Olive Garden food and homemade desserts with ice cream. Shout out to Olive Garden (Wadsworth/Littleton), Visiting Angels Littleton, Cycling Without Age Littleton, Little Man Ice Cream and musicians: Logan Dailey, Rylan Montoya, Ken Dold. A good time was had by all!

    13th Floor's Magic of the Jack O'Lanterns, 2021

13th Floor, the organizer of the amazingly successful Magic of the Jack O'Lanterns event at Hudson Gardens allowed CWAL to pilot passengers through an hour before they opened so those unable to walk it themselves were provided the chance to experience it up close and without the crowds.  Thank you so much, 13th FLoor!

    Barb's Surprise Early Birthday, 2021

Barb realizes it's her sister JINNY!

    Barb realizes it's JINNY!

Jinny planned the surprise of the century and covered her tracks so Barb had NO idea the 'Barbara' whose birthday it was!

Several pilots came to help celebrate Barb

Pilots hid behind Nixon's until they saw the trishaws and swarmed the patio.  It took several times of everyone saying "Look at the 3rd trishaw!" before it registered to Barb!

Barb was singing and filming the trishaws coming down the path, without the slightest clue her sister and nephew were in the 3rd one, and the celebration was for her!

CWAL Receives $5,000 Grant from Littleton Rotary Foundation

CWAL Ecstatic to be Awarded $5,000 Grant Toward Van Purchase

CWAL is over the moon excited to be awarded this incredibly generous grant from the Littleton Rotary Foundation to help toward the recent van purchase allowing us to transport two trishaws.  This added mobility expands CWAL's ability to bring wind in the hair experiences to those beyond our Riverpointe/Platte River boundaries, thus increasing the number of people we can impact with the simple yet profound opportunity of a trishaw experience.  We deeply appreciate the Littleton Rotary providing us with this grant to help further our mission of ensuring the most vulnerable are not the least visible.

Dry Creek Sertoma Presents Grant and Donation to CWAL!

Dry Creek Sertoma Club presented CWAL with $2,300 earlier this summer: $2,000 was a grant from the National Sertoma Grant Program, and $300 a direct donation from the generouslocal group.  Dry Creek's amazing suppill allow CWAL to broaden its reach and bring wind in the hair experiences to those who can't come to us!
